Direction comes from evidence,
not opinion.

The Career Clarity engagement combines a structured psychometric assessment with the diagnostic-led method. Direction grounded in evidence about how the learner thinks, what they are wired toward, and what fits the trajectory they actually have.

"Without the psychometric layer, the alignment is opinion. With it, it is evidence."

The Empowerment Architect™

Three questions. One diagnostic.

The same engagement, calibrated for the question on the table. Where the learner sits in school determines which tier fits.

01 · Subject Choice

Grade 8 to 9

For learners about to choose subjects for Grade 10 onwards. The decision affects matric subject combinations, university entry, and career trajectory. Made well, it opens doors. Made poorly, it closes them quietly.

R7,500 Subject Choice Package
02 · Career Direction

Grade 11 to Matric

For Matric-bound learners deciding on tertiary studies, university applications, and the trajectory after school. Direction the learner can stand on, not direction handed to them by pressure or assumption.

R8,500 Full Career Trajectory
03 · Post-Matric & Gap Year

After Matric

For Elite Learners sitting in a year of indecision, considering a pivot, or rewriting with a clearer direction in mind. The same evidence base used for high-school direction, applied to the next chapter.

R8,500 Full Career Trajectory

Four diagnostic layers. One psychometric foundation.

The Career CSG combines four diagnostic layers from Elite Tutor 2.0 with a regulated psychometric assessment administered by Eric. One engagement. One direction framework. One conversation between practitioners.

Cognitive Profile

How the learner thinks. Cognitive architecture, processing strengths, and the environments where they perform naturally.

Personality Mapping

How the learner relates to people, structure, ambiguity, pressure, and feedback. Where they would actually thrive.

Strengths Alignment

Natural strengths mapped against possible direction. What is repeatably part of how they operate.

Direction Framework

Diagnostic findings consolidated into direction. Subject combinations, university tracks, career fit, or pivot routes.

The psychometric foundation
Eric McAlister
BSocSci(Hon) Cum Laude · Psychometry Cum Laude · HPCSA Registered Psychometrist (PMT 0102938)

Eric administers regulated psychometric instruments, producing an objective assessment of aptitude, interest, and personality, separate from coaching opinion or self-report.

Without the psychometric layer, the alignment is opinion. With it, it is evidence.

Three tiers. The right one depends on the question.

What this is, and what it isn't.

It is not

Just a personality test.

A personality profile is part of it. The full engagement layers cognitive profile, personality mapping, strengths alignment, and direction framework together. The result is structural, not just descriptive.

It is not

Career counselling.

Career counselling tends to ask, "what do you want to do?" The Career Clarity engagement starts upstream: who is the learner, how do they think, where do they thrive, and what fits that trajectory? Direction comes out of the diagnostic, not out of conversation alone.

It is not

A guarantee of placement.

University acceptance, bursary outcomes, and career placement are not within the scope of any diagnostic. What the engagement provides is evidence-grounded direction, so the learner applies and pursues the right things.

It is not

A one-way decision.

The learner is at the centre, but the family decides together. The 90-minute joint debrief is structured so the family engages the findings together and leaves with shared clarity, not imposed direction.

The R100,000 question, answered with evidence.

Wrong subjects in Grade 10. A degree that does not fit by second year. A gap year that becomes two. The cost of getting it wrong runs into the hundreds of thousands. The cost of getting it right starts at R3,500.
