Clarity Success Guide
The diagnostic everything else builds from.

The CSG reveals how a learner processes information. Where they perform naturally. Where structural collapse points sit. The foundation everything else builds from. Without it, every recommendation downstream is opinion.

"Your child isn't unmotivated. The method doesn't match how they think."

The doctrine

The foundational diagnostic. Administered first. Always.

The Clarity Success Guide™ is the foundational diagnostic of the Elite Tutor 2.0 practice. Every engagement, regardless of stage, begins with it. Without the CSG, every recommendation downstream is opinion.

The CSG works by building a structured profile of how a learner processes information. Through a combination of intake instruments, structured reflection, and pattern analysis, we surface the learner's processing type, strengths, structural collapse points, and the methods most likely to engage them in learning. The output is a comprehensive report delivered within 5 business days of the intake session.

Every CSG includes the Tutor Alignment Guide (TAG), which translates the diagnostic into a tutor-ready brief. The TAG cannot be commissioned separately. The CSG is suitable for learners from Grade 5 onwards.

Five components. One coherent picture.

The CSG report is structured to give every party in the learner's ecosystem the same map. Parents see what to support. Tutors see what to teach. Learners see themselves.

Component 01

Processing-Type Profile

A clear picture of how your learner actually thinks and processes information. The CSG distinguishes between visual-spatial, procedural-sequential, narrative, and other processing types so that everyone supporting the learner works from the same foundation.

Component 02

Strength Map

Where your learner performs naturally. The subjects, topics, and methods that play to their cognitive strengths. The places they will produce results with comparatively little effort, once their strengths are deployed deliberately.

Component 03

Collapse Points

Where the learner is structurally likely to stall. Not because of effort or motivation, but because of how the material is being presented relative to how they think. Each collapse point is named, explained, and paired with a specific remediation pathway.

Component 04

Methods of Engagement

Specific, evidence-led recommendations for how to teach, study, and support this learner. Not generic study tips. Methods calibrated to the diagnostic profile, with concrete examples of what works and what to avoid.

We don't ask you to take this on trust.

A redacted sample of an actual CSG Clarity Report is available to view before you commit. The format, the depth, and the analytical structure you see in the sample is what your learner's report will be.

What builds on top of the CSG.

The CSG is the foundation. It opens up the rest of the practice. Once you have a CSG, the following engagements become available.

Add the environment

Family Diagnostic

CSG plus PAG

Combines the CSG with the Parent Alignment Guide. For families ready to address both the learner and the home conditions together. The most complete diagnostic picture the practice produces.

Stage 01 Family-level
Add direction

Career Clarity

Subject Choice or Career Trajectory

Adds an HPCSA-administered psychometric assessment by Eric McAlister to the diagnostic foundation. Subject Choice (Grade 8 to 9) or Career Trajectory (Grade 11 through post-matric). For decision points where direction is the live question.

Stage 02 / 04 Decision points
Add intervention

Gap Intensive

3-week diagnostic-led performance intervention

Paper cycles, reflection sheets, tutor briefs, parent check-ins, final report. For learners stuck at the same mark range or rewriting matric. Evidence-led, not effort-led.

Stage 03 Intervention

The first question is always the same. Who is this learner, really?

Book a scoping call. We'll establish whether the CSG is the right entry point and confirm timeline before any work begins.
